Resonans LLC was founded after a decade spent working alongside survivors and the professionals and organizations dedicated to supporting them, including advocates, educators, healthcare providers, law enforcement, military personnel, and community partners responding to trauma, violence, and exploitation.
Throughout that work, one thing became clear: people are often expected to navigate incredibly complex challenges without the training, resources, or support they need. Professionals face burnout while carrying difficult caseloads. Organizations struggle to keep up with evolving best practices. Community members want to better understand trauma, but often don't know where to start.
Resonans was created to help close those gaps. Drawing on experiences in the victim services field, we provide training, consultation, and professional development that strengthen the professionals and organizations serving others. At the same time, we are committed to making trauma education more accessible through public resources that help individuals better understand themselves, support those around them, and build healthier communities.
At Resonans LLC, our mission is to strengthen individuals, organizations, and communities through trauma-informed education, prevention, and professional development. We provide accessible education, evidence-informed training, youth empowerment programs, and mentorship opportunities designed to increase understanding, build capacity, and create meaningful change. Through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and prevention-focused initiatives, Resonans works to create safer, more informed communities where individuals have the tools and support needed to heal, grow, and thrive.
As the organization grew, so did the mission. We expanded into public psychoeducation after seeing the impact that understanding trauma can have on reducing stigma, helping individuals recognize their experiences, and realizing that support, healing, and growth are possible. We also developed career mentorship and youth empowerment programs to support future professionals and invest in prevention by equipping young people with skills that promote confidence, healthy relationships, and safety.
A future where communities are equipped with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to prevent harm, respond to trauma, and empower individuals to create healthier futures.
People are more likely to seek support and create change when they feel understood and valued. We approach our work with compassion, respect, and a commitment to reducing stigma.
We believe access to knowledge is the foundation for prevention, healing, and empowerment. Through trauma-informed education and training, we help individuals and organizations better understand challenges and identify growth opportunities.
Creating safer communities requires more than responding after harm occurs. We believe in equipping individuals, especially young people, with the skills, confidence, and support needed to build healthy relationships and make informed decisions.
Complex issues require collective solutions. We believe meaningful change happens when professionals, organizations, and communities work together toward shared goals.
We recognize the impact of trauma and prioritize approaches that promote safety, dignity, choice, and respect for every individual.
Education should not be limited to those with professional credentials or specialized training. We are committed to making trauma-informed information accessible to professionals, communities, families, and individuals.
